Rebecca read 'Law with Law Studies in Europe' (French Law) at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, obtaining an upper second class. She spent her third year studying constitutional law, civil law, commercial law, comparative law and fundamental rights at Universite Pantheon-Assas (Paris II).
After finishing her degree she completed the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University and was classed as outstanding, having obtained nine individual outstanding grades (including advocacy, witness handling (x2), conferencing, negotiation, civil litigation, family law, legal research, and ethics). She was also awarded the Baron Dr. Ver Heyden de Lancey Prize by Middle Temple for her outstanding results in the Bar exams.
Having completed her pupillage at 30 Park Place, Rebecca became a tenant in September 2008.
