Born in Hertford, Jennet gained an LLB (Hons) degree from University of London.
Previously a member of 33 Park Place, Jennet joined the criminal team at 30 Park Place in November 2007, where she continues her exclusively criminal practice, for both Prosecution and Defence, with particular expertise in sexual offences.
She has been recognised for many years in both the leading legal directories, singled out in the 2007 Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession as a "Band 1 Leading Junior and an expert in sex cases", . In the 2007 edition of the Legal 500 she is described as an "expert edvocate with wide experience in serious crime", supplemented in 2008 with "...particularly where there is a sexual element".
