Natalie Sandercock read Classics at Christ Church, Oxford University, obtaining a 2:1, and later 'converted' to law at UWE Bristol, where she also took the Bar Vocational Course (Very Competent). She has been awarded the Lord Justice Sachs Entrance Exhibition, a Benefactors’ Scholarship and an Astbury Pupillage Award by the Middle Temple.

In the Family/Matrimonial section of Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession 2009 she is recognised for "...developing a reputation for top-quality ancillary relief work and cohabitee disputes".
The Legal 500 2007 described her as "...very clever...", and in 2008 as "...exceptional for her call".
She also undertakes a high volume of Personal Injury work, for both Claimant and Defendant. As a natural extension of this work, she is frequently instructed to attend at Coroner's Inquests.
Natalie also undertakes a large volume of work for local authorities, in particular applications under the Mental Capacity Act/Dols to the Court of Protection, as well as appearing on behalf of Local Education Authorities/school governing bodies in SENTW hearings.
