Born in Morriston, Swansea, Marian Lewis gained an LL.B. (Hons) degree from University College London.
She practises exclusively in the field of Criminal Law, and specialises in all aspects; incorporating serious Violent and Sexual offences (including those involving children), Drugs offences and offences involving Dishonesty and Fraud (VHCC).
She has been recommended for the past three years in the Legal 500 as "...a strong junior ... for heavy crime", and "..safely recommended.." for fraud, and in the Chambers & Partners Guide to the Legal Profession 2006 she was described as a "'..faultless performer', pinpointed for her involvement in serious violent and sexual offences". Her pre-eminence in these fields was further highlighted in the 2007 edition by "...a practice heavy with cases of a sexual nature".
