Harriet Edmondson was educated at Howells School LLandaff and subsequently gained an Upper Second Class LLB (Hons) degree, from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, where she studied from 1992 until 1995.
In the summer of her second year she spent 3 months working in Toronto, Canada, fund raising for various charities, including Save the Children (Rwandan Appeal).
In the summer of her final year she was awarded a European Union ‘Tempus’ grant, to work in a law firm in Poznan, Poland, for 3 months.
After taking 1 year out to ‘backpack’ and work her way around South East Asia, Australia ,New Zealand and North America, she undertook the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London.
She undertook her pupillage at 30 Park Place, before securing a tenancy in 1998.
Harriet's main area of practice is in Family Law and her particular area of specialisation within this field is public law child care proceedings, acting for many Local Authorities, as well as parents and Children’s Guardians.
She also undertakes Ancillary Relief cases.
