After graduating from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2003, Claire Williams sudied the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff Law School, achieving a Very Competent grade. She was offered a pupillage at 30 Park Place and commenced her tenancy in 2005
Claire is a member of the Family Team and undertakes a full range of family law work, including Child Care, Section 8 Residence/Contact, Injunctions, Ancillary Relief, and Trusts/Cohabitees.
She has an extensive Children Act practice which has included representing Local Authorities, parents and Children's Guardians at contested final hearings. Claire regularly appears in the Family Proceedings Court and County Court, and has appeared in the High Court in her own right, as well as being junior counsel in several extended 'shaken baby' cases.
She undertakes a full range of Ancillary Relief and Trusts/Cohabitee cases.
Claire is also a fluent Welsh speaker and can conduct cases in the medium of Welsh.
