Born in Sheffield, Andrew Jones specialises in Criminal Law, including violent offences, sexual offences, drugs offences and offences involving dishonesty, which have taken him to every domestic tribunal from the magistrates' court through to the House of Lords. He also specialises in Public Interest Immunity applications, in which he has an extensive practice.
Andrew also specialises in serious fraud cases (VHCC) and food safety work, and was involved in both the public inquiry and the food safety prosecution (the largest ever undertaken in South Wales) relating to the E-Coli outbreak in 2005.
Andrew also has a busy personal injury practice where he accepts instructions for both Claimant and Defendant alike. He also acts on a Conditional Fee basis.
Andrew is also a regular provider of professional education seminars regarding current legal developments in areas such as Public Interest Immunity and the Proceeds of Crime.
