Criminal work remains one of the largest and most important areas of practice on Circuit.
Chambers provides a team of specialist practitioners at all levels dealing with the widest range of work from the most basic offences to the most serious crimes of violence, sexual offences and complex frauds.
Chambers provides Counsel to appear, where necessary, in the higher appellate Courts, the Crown Court, and the Magistrates Court, together with various professional disciplinary tribunals.
All criminal practitioners in Chambers will accept instructions both to prosecute and defend.
In the case of more serious offences the Clerks can arrange representation at both Leading and Junior level, and Chambers are pleased to assist instructing solicitors by becoming involved in an advisory capacity at the earliest, including pre-committal, stages.
